Artly There Music Time

For your perusal and in search of praise however minor, I have uploaded some antique tunes of mine as MP3's. The tape hiss is unavoidable, as the midi data was stolen and the tape record is all I have at this point for most of these. These were all done with a Yamaha TG-55 and Alesis MMT-8 MIDI sequencer, and mixed live to tape. I have some newer ones that I am ready to master to a Roland VS-880 and CD eventually.

These MP3's are rather large, and are encoded at 128Kbit rate. They are appended with ID3 v1.0 tags using my program for Mac called Taggerwocky

Wait, Hell Froze, there are a few new ones now as of Jan 25, 2005, Goink, Bitshifts and The A Song (hate that one, it hurt to write it, kills me to listen to it...it's love to ruin to hell all in one handy over-reverbed raw online mix.

  • Midnight Running <4.8MB>

  • Chagah Zoom <4.8MB>

  • Midnight Running has a nice melody in places which I like.
Chagah Zoom is a funky thing with a misleading intro.

  • Echotica! <4.2 mb>

  • Echotica is dance-techno if a label might fit. One of my favorites.

  • What Could Have Been <1.9 MB>

  • This has my favorite melody... Cruel woman... :) The Pain. The Agony.
I'm sad, and she owes me an apology. No, 53 of them, for putting a hurting on my heart.

Wait, there's more pain from Cruel woman. The whole saga in one damn painful as hell song. Yes, her name was Carpie, but there was nothing fishy about her.

  • The A Song <3.4 MB>

  • Some of these are from the only tape record I have, though I think I do have Midnight Running on Datadisk still.

These Be Reasonably Fresh, via GarageBand and MIDI...

  • Goink <2 MB>

  • Bitshifts <1 MB>

  • I have many more I could upload. Please email me at artlythere < at > kagi.com if you have any comments.
